Regarding unsuccessful statements made by a member of the Egyptian Social Democratic Party in the public debt session of the National Dialogue today, the party confirms that the party member has committed several violations related to adherence of the party line and its well-known and declared positions and opinions. The party stresses several essential points; The most important of them:

- The party is not concerned at all with assessing the relationship of any political figure with God Almighty, and also that the party has repeatedly declared its objection to the government's borrowing policies .

- The problem of foreign debt is not in its percentage of the GDP, but the fact that it exceeds the state's ability to provide hard currency, which has led to successive waves of devaluation of the country's currency and the sale of national assets at prices that may underestimate their value, and to the suffering of the majority of the people from high prices and the difficulty of living.

The Egyptian Social Democratic Party notes that the concerned member presented a clear apology for what he did, and the internal party democracy mechanisms are scheduled to activate to evaluate the position of the aforementioned member.
