يعرب الحزب المصري الديمقراطي الاجتماعي عن بالغ إدانته واستنكاره لاستمرار ممارسات السلطة الإسرائيلية المحتلة و قيامها مؤخراً باقتحام المسجد الأقصى و تهجير عائلات فلسطينية من منازلهم في حي "الشيخ جراح" بالقدس الشرقية، و الاعتداء على المقدسيين ، و استخدام العنف المفرط تجاه مواطنين فلسطينيين مدنيين عزّل ، مما يندرج تحت جرائم الحرب ضد الشعب الفلسطيني، و جرائم الاضطهاد و التمييز العنصري، ويؤكد الحزب على إدانة ورفض منع اسرائيل للانتخابات الفلسطينية في القدس، وعلى حق الشعب الفلسطيني في إجراء الانتخابات الحرة الديمقراطية بما في ذلك داخل مدينة القدس،
و في ظل عدم التزام السلطات الإسرائيلية بمسؤولياتها وفق قواعد القانون الدولي لتوفير الحماية اللازمة للمدنيين الفلسطينيين ، عدم إعطاء حقهم في ممارسة الشعائر الدينية، و عدم وقف الممارسات التي تنتهك حُرمة المسجد الأقصى ، أو الهوية العربية الإسلامية والمسيحية لمدينة القدس ومقدساتها وتغيّر من الوضع التاريخي والقانوني القائم.
في ظل كل ماسبق يطالب الحزب بمحاسبة اسرائيل على هذه الجرائم في محكمة الجنايات الدولية، و يطالب بدعوة الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة لاجتماع طارىء في ظل تقاعس مجلس الأمن وامتناعه عن تنفيذ قراراته المتعلقة بالقدس وفلسطين

EDSP demands that Israeili Occupation Authority appears before The International Criminal Court (ICC):
The Egyptian Democratic Social Party (EDSP) expresses its deep concern and condemnation of the ongoing practices of the Israeili Occupation Authority with its recent break into Al Aqsa Mosque, forcing Palestenian families out of their homes in “Sheikh Jarrah” district, East Jerusalem, attacking Jerusalemites and using excessive violence with defenseless Palestinian civilians. These are not only considered “war crimes” against the Palestinian people, but also crimes of persecution and racial discrimination.
EDSP also condemns and rejects the act of Israel preventing Palestinian elections in Jerusalem, assuring the Palestinians’ right to hold free democratic elections everywhere, including in Jerusalem.
Israeili Authority has failed to comply with their responsibilities within the parameters of international law, to provide necessary protection to Palestinian civilians, to guarantee their right to practise religion, to stop any practices of desecration towards Al Aqsa mosque, or any practices violating the Arab Islamic and Christian identity of Jerusalem and its sanctities, leading to changes in the historical and legal status quo.
Based on the above mentioned status, EDSP demands that Israel be held accountable for these crimes before the ICC and that the United Nations General Assembly be invited to an emergency meeting, specially after the Security Council inaction and its failure to implement its own resolutions related to Jerusalem and Palestine.
