The Egyptian Social Democratic Party strongly condemns, in the strongest terms, the brutal genocidal war to which the Palestinian people are subjected, as well as the attempts at forced displacement of the Palestinian people, which have been exacerbated by Israeli military actions and supported by the U.S. administration.

It holds the Israeli authorities and the U.S. administration fully accountable , as without the unlimited support provided by the U.S. administration to Netanyahu—accused of war crimes & crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Court—Israel would not have had the capacity to endure this savage aggression.

The party expresses its solidarity and support for the resilience of the Palestinian people and demands that Palestinians take all necessary steps to support their national unity.

It also affirms its full support for the Egyptian administration's stance rejecting the plans to displace Palestinians, which would represent the liquidation of the Palestinian cause and a threat to Egypt's national security. These attempts increase tensions in the region and threatens to undermine the fragile peace due to Israeli practices supported by the United States.

Furthermore, the party appreciates the growing international solidarity positions supporting the Palestinian people and the rejection of displacement and extermination plans.

The party demands an immediate ceasefire and the reconstruction of Gaza according to the plan presented by the Egyptian administration at the recent Arab summit, as well as a return to the political settlement path based on the two-state solution. The party also demands the prosecution of Israeli war criminals whose hands are stained with the blood of tens of thousands of innocent victims.

Additionally, the party calls on all progressive and democratic forces, particularly social democratic parties in Europe, to provide material and political support to the Palestinian people to achieve these three demands:

1. Immediate cessation of war.

2. Reconstruction of Gaza according to Egypt's plan.

3. Return to the settlement path based on the two-state solution.

We reaffirm our support for the Egyptian administration's stance . We reiterate based on this independent support against the challenges facing the nation, our emphasis on the need to build a comprehensive national alignment front capable of confronting the presented threats. We stress that this alignment should not be built on superficial loyalties imposed by intimidation or temptation, but rather on the genuine participation of all national forces, based on enduring tangible steps towards political openness and granting access to the engagement of all parties in the political scene.

In this direction, the party believes that the first step towards these endeavours is the release of those detained on opinion-related charges as a logical introduction towards the setup of a conducive political climate that supports the conduct of the parliamentary elections in a manner that reflects the voters' will.

We perceive this matter as an indispensable and urgent step requiring serious and constructive dialogue between all parties in the political scene
